RECYCLING AND SUSTAINABILITY
PerfectPro products are designed for intensive use. Proper maintenance, careful use and responsible recycling help keep products and raw materials in circulation for as long as possible. This page explains how to extend the life of your product and how to dispose of electrical equipment, batteries and rechargeable batteries safely.
Our responsibility
PerfectPro complies with the applicable producer-responsibility requirements for electrical equipment and batteries. Collection and recycling are carried out through authorised national and local schemes. This ensures that discarded products and batteries are processed responsibly and that valuable materials can be recovered.
Recycling jobsite radios and other electrical products
An old or defective jobsite radio, hearing protector or other electrical PerfectPro product must not be disposed of with general household waste. Electrical equipment contains materials such as metals, plastics and electronic components that can be sorted, reused or recycled after correct collection. Any potentially harmful substances can then be treated responsibly.
You can usually return discarded electrical equipment:
- to a retailer when purchasing a comparable new product;
- to your local household waste recycling centre;
- to an authorised electrical-equipment collection point.
Collection options differ by country and local authority. Consult your local authority or an official electrical recycling scheme to find the nearest suitable collection point.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
Loose batteries, rechargeable batteries and products with a built-in battery must always be collected separately. They contain valuable materials, but incorrect handling can also pose a risk to people and the environment. Never dispose of batteries with household waste.
- Take loose alkaline and NiMH batteries to a battery collection point, participating retailer or household waste recycling centre.
- Leave a built-in lithium-ion battery inside the product and do not attempt to remove it yourself if the product was not designed for user removal.
- Never damage, puncture or burn a battery.
- If a battery is damaged, deformed, leaking or unusually hot, stop using and charging the product and contact our customer service team for advice about safe transport and disposal.

Use it for longer before recycling
The most sustainable raw material is often the one that does not yet need to be replaced. You can help extend the service life of your PerfectPro product by:
- using and charging the product in accordance with the user manual;
- keeping it clean and dry and protecting it against extreme heat, frost and heavy impacts;
- regularly checking cables, plugs, battery contacts and connections;
- checking whether maintenance or repair is possible before replacing a defective product;
- using only suitable parts, batteries and charging equipment.
If your product develops a fault, first review our information about service and warranty or contact your PerfectPro dealer. They can assess whether a repair or another suitable solution is possible.
Separate packaging materials
Packaging materials can often be reused as raw materials. Separate cardboard, paper and plastics in accordance with your local recycling rules. Remove personal delivery labels before recycling a box. Keep the packaging if you may need to transport the product safely or return it for service later.
